Be a Blossom Volunteer – Help Make a Difference! We’re always looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to join our volunteer team and help The Blossom Charity throughout the year in many different ways.

There are lots of simple ways you can get involved, including baking sweet or savoury treats for events, putting up posters, delivering flyers, helping with fundraising activities and supporting us with general jobs when needed. You don’t need lots of time or experience — just a willingness to help when you can. Monthly Pop-Up Shop Volunteers

We’re always looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help at our Pink Trolley monthly pop-up shops. It’s a great way to support The Blossom Charity, meet people in the local community and have fun while making a difference.

Set-Up Volunteer Help us get everything ready before the shop opens, including setting up tables, displays, stock and signage. 3 hours per month. Thursday

Sales Assistant Welcome customers, help them find items, answer questions, take payments and keep the shop looking inviting and organised. 4 - 16 hours per month (The - Sat)

Clear-Down Volunteer Help pack away stock, dismantle tables and displays, tidy the space and make sure everything is ready to go back into storage. 2 hours per month. Saturday afternoon

You can volunteer for one role or help with all three. No previous experience is needed — just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help!

Makeover Day Volunteers – Dream On

We’re looking for friendly and caring volunteers to help make our Makeover Days at Dream On extra special for women living with or being treated for cancer. There are lots of ways you can help, including baking cakes and sweet treats, preparing refreshments, serving tea and coffee, helping with lunch, and generally making our guests feel welcome and looked after. No special experience is needed — just a friendly smile, a willingness to help and a little time to make a big difference. Your support helps us create a warm, relaxed and memorable day for everyone who attends. 11am to 3pm. Fridays or Saturdays.

Event Volunteers

We’re looking for reliable, friendly volunteers to help us run our events throughout the year. There are lots of different ways to get involved, and every helping hand makes a difference. Duties may include driving the charity van, loading and unloading equipment, setting up and clearing down events, helping with next-day clear-downs, running raffles, welcoming guests and providing general assistance. You don’t need to be available for every event — simply volunteer when you can. Whether you have a few hours or can help with the heavier lifting, your support is hugely appreciated and helps us deliver successful events for the community.

Steaming Volunteers – Dream On

We’re looking for volunteers to help at Dream On when new-season stock arrives. You’ll help steam and prepare clothing so it looks its best and is ready to go on the shop floor. This is a practical role and a great way to support Dream On and The Blossom Charity. No previous experience is needed — just a willingness to help and an eye for detail.

The Pink Trolley – Volunteer Roles

Sort Donations Help sort through donated items, checking their condition and organising them ready for sale or distribution. Value & Price Bric-a-BracHelp identify, research and price bric-a-brac and other donated items to ensure they are attractively and appropriately priced.

Vinted Help photograph, list and manage clothing and other suitable items for sale on Vinted, including keeping listings up to date. eBay. Help research, photograph, list and manage suitable items for sale on eBay.

Steam Clothes Help steam and prepare donated clothing so it looks its best and is ready to go on sale.

Monthly Hamper Help put together our monthly hamper, including organising items, preparing the hamper and making it look special for the recipient.

Shop Duties Help with the day-to-day running of The Pink Trolley, including serving customers, keeping the shop tidy and welcoming, restocking and general assistance.

Building Maintenance, Van Driver & Odd Jobs Volunteer

We’re looking for practical, reliable volunteers to help with general building maintenance and odd jobs throughout the year. Tasks could include small repairs, van driving, putting up shelves or fixtures, painting, basic maintenance, moving items and helping keep our spaces safe, tidy and welcoming.

You don’t need to be available all the time — we’re simply looking for people with practical skills who are happy to lend a hand when needed. If you’re good with your hands and enjoy fixing, improving and making things work, we’d love to hear from you!
