Meet Our Ambassadors
People who have been on our programme are giving back
Sophie has been involved with the blossom charity for many years. She was encouraged by her church leader to join the blossom course after struggling in her job. She really enjoyed her time on the course and particularly loved the coaching. Since the course she has helped with a couple of fundraising auctions for the charity, which was very important to her. She has completed a diploma and now runs her own child counselling business. This course, and the people involved, helped her to change her life and achieve goals.
Sophie feels it is important for her to be an ambassador to encourage other people to be the best version of themselves, as she believes that the blossom charity is a very unique and special place.
Zoe attended the blossom Development Programme in 2016/17. Through the coaching and workshops she rediscovered her love of creativity. She followed a plan and was able to make enough money by being a self-employed artist. The programme helped her identify her strengths, so building on these, she was drawn to midwifery and started a midwifery degree in February 2020. She will qualify in 2023 and can’t wait to get started on helping new expectant mums and babies.
Zoe was delighted to be asked to be an ambassador for blossom as she is so grateful for the confidence boost and help in deciding her future direction.
Jude is an artist and retired to Suffolk in 2015, after teaching art and design to high school pupils for 24 years. She attended the blossom Development Programme in 2016. She enjoyed being part of a supportive group and, being new to the area, it was great to form friendships with others going through the same experience. She made the most of the opportunity and gradually, with help from blossom, she began doing her artwork again and started building her business and is now full time, developing her work through painting, glass and ceramics based on her travels.
Jude often volunteers for blossom and is delighted to be an ambassador to give something back and help others in need.
